Project is based on archival material, that is archaeological material acquired by Waldemar Chmielewski and documentation kept during his fieldwork: excavation journals, drawings of profiles and plans.  Included will be archaeological, paleontological and geological results of analyses conducted so far. During the course of the project, new archaeological and paleontological materials as well as geological samples will be collected.

Professor Waldemar Chmielewski  kept detailed documentation during his excavations. Unfortunately not all of it  was found.  Among available sources are journals written during surveys, like one  in the photo above . They are a huge help  in our work.
